Obituary of Kathy Jean Brown

Kathy Jean Brown, age 54 of Westville passed away on December 23rd, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Services will be held on Saturday January 23rd, 2021 at Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home at 10AM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary-Spaulding Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born September 12th, 1966, the daughter of Lee Lamica and Rita McNamara in Malone, NY. Kathy graduated from Franklin Academy and later attended North Country Community College. She worked as a home health aide for North Country Home Service. She also worked as a cook at the Franklin Hotel. On September 17th, 1988 Kathy married the love of her life Earl Brown in Malone officiated by P.K. Curtin. Kathy is survived by her mother Rita Lamica of Malone; her husband Earl Brown of Westville; her two daughters Desaraie Brown of Westville and Tosha Brown of Malone; a step-daughter Misty Baker of Rutland, VT; her brother Scott Lamica of Rutland, Vt; her two sisters Kim Mulverhill and her husband Kelly and Karen Bissell both of Malone; her 12 grandchildren, and one great- grandchild. She was predeceased by her father Lee Lamica. Kathy enjoyed caring for everyone and being with her grandchildren.
