Yvonne 'Planty' Snyder

Yvonne Snyder, 78, of Tupper Lake, NY passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Mercy Living Center in Tupper Lake.

Yvonne was born on June 29, 1934, the daughter of Ivan and Marjorie(Bruce) Planty. On November 22, 1953, she married Bernard "Gino" Snyder and raised their family along with numerous foster children in Tupper Lake.

Yvonne is survived by her 5 children, Susan Colby and her husband James Colby of Milton VT, Thomas and wife Tracye of Tupper Lake, Anne Marie Jay of Tupper Lake, Joel and wife Mary Ellen of Tupper Lake, Jonathan and wife Judy of Tupper Lake, 15 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Yvonne also has two sisters, Paticia Bates of Tupper Lake and Candy Schriber of Abbeville, South Carolina. She was predeceased by one son, David in 2003 and her husband Bernard in 2013.

Calling hours are scheduled from 10:00am-12pm on Monday October 14th followed by a funeral service at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus cemetery immediately following.
