William E. LaTray

William Edward LaTray Jr., 59, Born on December 3, 1953 in Star Lake, NY. Passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake with his loving wife and family by his side. He is the son of William LaTray Sr. and Marjorie Boivin.

He attended Clifton-Fine Central School, lettering in football, baseball and basketball. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. Worked at J and L until it closed then went to work in Tupper Lake at the Oval Wood Dish which became OWD, and most recently worked at Sunmount DDSO.

He is survived by his wife Lori of 24 years, his step daughters Wendy and her husband Travis Badore of Baltimore, MD, Elizabeth Godin and fiance` Anthony Brownell of Tupper Lake, NY, also from a previous marriage a daughter Lorie LaTray of Tupper Lake, NY. Also surviving are his grandchildren Austin Brownell, Tyler Exware and Calvin Hall Jr. of Tupper Lake, NY and Dominic and Jillian Badore of Baltimore, MD and his father William LaTray and his wife Gerry, one brother Bob and his wife Julie all of Star Lake, sister in law Barb LaTray and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his mother Marjorie LaTray and brother James LaTray.

Calling hours are scheduled for Thursday, April 4 from 4-7pm at Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 5 at 2 pm at Holy Name Church in Tupper Lake, NY. Reception to follow the funeral at the VFW.
