Victor G. Blair

Victor G. Blair, 96, of Tupper Lake, passed away at Mercy Living Center, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 where he had resided for the past few months.

Born December 10, 1918 in Tupper Lake, he was the son of Fred and Bessie (Vieu) Blair. Victor worked as an engineer at the O.W.D. Corp and Draper Plywood for 50 years. He has 3 loving daughters, Rita Theriault and her husband Sam, Gloria Exware and her companion Terry Pickering, Vickie Gonyea and her husband Lee. Also surviving are one brother Amos, 12 grandchildren; Tammy Roach, Lori Theriault, Amy Rolley, Darla Roy, Eric Varden, Michele Mayotte, Stephanie Castle, Tracy Kennedy, Darcy LaDue, Fred Exware, Mark Exware, Chuckie Exware and 22 great-grandchildren. Victor was pre-deceased by his parents, wife Gladys LaMora Blair, 3 daughters; Margaret Blair, Geraldine Exware, Pat Varden and 4 brothers; William, Edward, Wolfred and Leonard and one sister Mary LaBrie.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be in the spring at Holy Name cemetery
