Susan J. 'Rice' Brownell

Susan J. Brownell, 65, of Tupper Lake, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Born March 19, 1948 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Nelson and Marjorie (Brickey) Rice. Susan was raised in Tupper Lake and attended local schools. In 1985 she married Donald Brownell.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Tammy, Terri and Marcy, one son Justin (Skeeter), 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren one sister Sandy Trudeau and 2 brothers, Frank and Stephen.

Calling hours are scheduled for Saturday from 1 - 2 pm followed by a funeral service at 2 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus cemetery.
