Shirley Bouissey

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shirley Ann Bouissey, of Malone, announce her passing on September 8, 2026.

Shirley was born on September 22, 1948, to the late Roy and Pauline Yeddo. A dedicated professional, Shirley served for 30 years at the Franklin County Nursing Home, and 8 years in Ogdensburg Nursing Home providing compassionate care until her retirement.

Shirley took great pride in her family, especially honoring her late bother, U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Major Roy eddo, and his receipt of the Presidential Service Badge. Se held equal pride in the military service of Jerry, Larry, and Jimmy.

Shirley shared 36 wonderful, loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Darrel Bouissey. Together, they built a life centered on mutual devotion and their shared love for their dogs.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Darrel Bouissey, her brothers; Larry (Tampa) Yeddo of North Carolina, and Jimmy (Rita) Yeddo of Constable; her brother-in-law Lyle Bouissey of Plattsburgh, her sister-in-law Janise Bouissey of Westville, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Pauline Yeddo, her siblings; Roy Yeddo, Jean Yates, Mary Jane LaPage, Jerry Yeddo, Joan Teneyck, and Matilda Heeder, her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; Raymond, Gary, Linda, and Lloyd Bouissey.

In accordance with Shirley's wishes, there will be no public services. The family kindly asks that you keep Darrel and their loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Malone.
