Sandra I 'Randall' Houghton Obituary (1942

Sandra I. Houghton, age 72, of 78 South Little Wolf Road, Tupper Lake, died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at her home after a courageous battle against cancer surrounded by her loving family.Born in Burke, Vermont on February 24, 1942, she was the daughter of Gordon and Beulah (Percy) Randall. Sandra, married Arthur Robert Houghton on July 3, 1999. He predeceased her on September 20, 2005.Sandra had been employed at Sunmount DDSO in Tupper Lake for over 25 years until her retirement in2004. She was a member of the Ladies Red Hats group and a past member of the Women of the Moose. She loved to go to the casino and play bingo and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by her daughter Lynn Bishop and her husband Allen of Tupper Lake, twos sister Marcia Bishop of Lyndonville, VT, and Pauline Staves of Tupper Lake, 9 grandchildren and 10:00 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, one son Shane Barber, one her brother Richard Randall, one sister Sheryl Randall, her granddaughter Karissa and her great granddaughter Kendall.Funeral arrangements are in care of the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 Am on Friday September 5, 2014 at the Lake View Cemetery in Tupper Lake.Friends wishing to remember Sandra I.
