Phoebe D. Wilson

Phoebe D. Wilson age 68, of St. Regis Falls, NY, passed away February 25, 2023 at the Alice Center Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service will be held Saturday March 4, 2023 at Frary Funeral Home at 7:00 PM. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 5:00 PM until the start of the service. Interment will take place in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Westville, NY. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home.

Phoebe was born November 21, 1954 in Westville, NY to the late James Daniel Wilson II and Catherine Grace Rockhill. Miss Wilson graduated from Potsdam State University with a Masters for teaching. She was a teacher for St. Regis Falls Central School, BOCES Daycare Center in Malone, and Headstart in Brushton.

She was a member of the 4-H Club and Westville Grange in her youth. She was an exhibitor at the Franklin County Fair for several years. She enjoyed birds, horticulture, art and crafts, and her windchimes. She supported the events of the Westville Fire Department and volunteering her time with the Waverly Food Pantry. Her grandson, Killian, lit up her world.

Miss Wilson is survived by her daughter, Mindy Wilson and her companion Frank Flack of Keeseville, NY and their child Killian Flack; her siblings, Grace Reed of Theresa, NY, Patricia Douglas and Allen of Burke, NY, Lois Trombley of Malone, NY, Dorothy Mallette of Malone, NY, James D. Wilson III and his wife Geraldine of Westville, NY, and Sarah Bonczar and her husband Jim of North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Herb Reed of Philadelphia, NY; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents James Daniel Wilson II and Catherine Grace Rockhill; her sister, Joy Wilson; two brother-in-law's, Richard Mallette and Alvin Trombley.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Westville Fire Department.
