Nicholas J. LaRussell Obituary (1927 - 2018)

Funeral services for Nicholas J. LaRussell, Jr., age 90, of Ogdensburg, NY, will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 10:00AM at St. Mary's Cathedral with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Mr. LaRussell passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Nicholas is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; his daughter, Linnea Esposito and her husband, Joseph, of White Plains, NY; one brother, Paul LaRussell and one sister, Ann Hannah; two grandchildren, Michael and Julia and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by five siblings. Nicholas was born on November 30, 1927, in Rye, NY, the son of Nicholas and Mary Genovese LaRussell. He graduated from high school and went on to obtain an Associate's Degree. Mr. LaRussell enlisted in the United States Army right out of high school. Nicholas married Stephanie Lovelace in 1993 in Mamaroneck, NY. Nicholas was employed by the Sheetmetal Workers Union Local #38, in Brewster, NY, for over sixty years.
