Marjorie Perry

Marjorie Perry age 97, of Malone, NY passed away Saturday December 24, 2022 at home under the care of Hospice of the North County and her family. A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. John Bosco Cemetery in Malone. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home.

Marjorie was born August 23, 1925 in Malone, NY to the late Frederick Monica and Rose Hinman. She graduated high school from Franklin Academy. After high school, she married Leslie J. Perry on February 26, 1946 at St. John Bosco Church in Malone, NY. She worked and helped manage Pearls Department Store until retiring in 1986. She later worked as a stuffer for the Malone Telegram. Mrs. Perry was a member of the St. John Bosco Alter and Rosary Society and a volunteer at the St. Vincent DePaul. She enjoyed working bingo, getting to visit with people, and volunteering.

Mrs. Perry is survived by a sister, Marushia Diltz of Orangeville, PA; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Makayla, and Alexander Guthrie; and her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Rose Monica; her husband, Leslie J. Perry; her daughter, Linda Gallup; her grandchildren, Michael and Timothy Guthrie; her brothers, Oscar, Richard, Clarence, and Harold Beaudry, Chester and Carl Monica.
