Loretta Ouellette

It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of Loretta A. Ouellette, who embarked on her final journey on October 7, 2026, at the age of 97. Born to Roy and Blanche Gale on July 25, 1929, in Tupper Lake, Loretta was a woman of extraordinary strength, resilience, and kindness.

Loretta worked for Royal Typewriter for over twenty years building typewriters before retiring and moving to General Electric where she spent the rest of her career working for the assembly line before her retirement.
Loretta was an adventurous spirit who loved traveling with her dear friends. She spent time in Hawaii, Germany and Australia.

She is predeceased by her loving father, Roy Gale, her caring mother, Blanche and her husband of fifty years Leon Ouellette.

She is survived by her brother Rodney Gale.

In honor of Loretta, we encourage friends and loved ones to share their memories and upload photos on her memorial page. A graveside service will be held at Saint Alphonsus cemetery 4 Waters Drive, Tupper Lake NY on Wednesday October 14th at 11:00 AM.
