Leesa Virginia Brooks

Ogdensburg- Leesa Virginia Brooks, age 54, passed away on December 9, 2025 at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh. A celebration of life will be held in the spring at the Brier Hill Fire Hall. Leesa will be laid to rest at Ingram Cemetery in Brier Hill. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena.

Leesa was born in Massena on May 13, 1971, the daughter of Fred and Marsha (Garno) Brooks. She graduated from Massena Central School and from Mater Dei College with her Associates degree in social work, the received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Potsdam State. She was employed as a Case Manager for North Country Transitional Living Services. She was a member of the Brier Hill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her mother Marsha, a daughter Christine (Justin) Runions, two brothers, Fred (Brenda) Brooks and Andy (Brenda) Brooks, her grandchildren, Caydince, Emmelia, Skylyn, Harlow, and Gabrielle. She is predeceased by her father, and a brother Scott.

Leesa enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, spending countless hours taking pictures and spending time with her fur babies Dakota and Murphy.
