Joy 'LaGray' Simmons

Joy Simmons, 58, of Tupper Lake, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born May 28, 1956 in Tupper Lake, New York, she was the daughter of James LaGray and Lorraine Grose. She is survived by three sisters Bonnie Godin and her husband Gerald of Slidell, LA, Pamela Lauzon and companion Karl Lockwood of Macedon, NY, Debra Soucy and her husband Yvan of Tupper Lake and her son Robbie Peets of Tupper Lake. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Joy was predeceased by her father James LaGray; mother Lorraine Grose; brothers Daniel LaGray and Stephen LaGray; brother-in-law Frank Luzon and her nephew James Lauzon.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake, NY. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 PM on Wednesday September 3, 2014 at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Tupper Lake.
