Dr. J. Michael Van Vranken

Doctor J. Michael Van Vranken of Glenmont away peacefully on September 20, 2025 at the Hudson Park Rehabilitation Center, in Albany, NY.

Michael was born April 3, 1937 in Tupper Lake, the son of the late Harvey and Lillian (Corneau) Van Vranken.

Micheal is survived by his sisters Judith Frey and Ann Iaria (Anthony). He is also survived by his brother Bruce Van Vranken and very dear friends Dr. and Mrs. Donald McGoldrick. Michael is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased in death by his parents and his brother Paul C. Van Vranken.

Michael graduated from Tupper Lake High School, class of 1955. He attended the Albany State Teacher's College and then the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry. He had a successful private dental practice, retiring in 1995.

As per Michael's wishes, burial will be private at the convenience of the family, in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Tupper Lake.
