Janet 'Graham' Blair

TUPPER LAKE- Janet (Graham) Blair, 87, of Tupper Lake passed away at her home on Friday, February 27, 2015. Born February 11, 1928 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of James and Mary Catherine (O'Donnell) Graham.

Janet grew up in Tupper Lake and attended Holy Ghost Academy. She married Edward Blair on November 27, 1946. She worked at the Oval Wood Dish prior to leaving Tupper Lake. They moved to Holyoke in 1960 where she was employed at the Sickles Co. and retired from MooreDrop Forge Corp. in 1990 and returned to Tupper Lake to make their home on Lincoln Drive.

Janet is survived by one daughter Catherine M. LaBonte and her husband Leo of Blackstone, MA., one son Edward J. and his wife Christine of Tupper Lake, five grandchildren; Michael, John, Lisa, Thomas and Angela, nine great-grandchildren; Shawn, Stephanie, Jen, Justin, Sara, Michael, Allen, Zachery and Isabella and five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters; Marion Blair of Holyoke, MA and Catherine Carrol of Tupper Lake. She was pre-deceased by her husband, brothers Arthur and James, sister Rita Arsenault and granddaughter Tanya Blair.

Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, March 3 from 4-7 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake with a funeral service at 6pm. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus cemetery in May.
