Freddy D. Love Sr.

Massena- Freddy D. Love Sr., age 83, a longtime resident of Hough Road, passed away on Tuesday December 9, 2025 in Rochester. A graveside service will be held in the Spring at Pine Grove II Cemetery in Massena. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena.

Freddy was born in Massena on August 25, 1942 to the late Freddy Sr. and Marion (Cantwell) Love. On October 20, 1962 he married Theresa Ann Leggue at the Brasher Falls United Methodist Church. He was employed as a truck driver for many years for Cappione Distribution.

Freddy is survived by his children, Carol Love, and Freddy Love Jr. all of Massena; his grandchildren Matthew, Corey, Michael; great grandchildren Collin, Rhys, Rhevden, Rhynia, Liam, Easton, and Graham, a brother Richard Love Sr., a sister Betty White, he is predeceased by his wife, and a daughter Patricia Billhardt, brothers Robert Sr., William Sr., and Raymond, sisters, Doris Rushlow and Barbara Love.

Freddy enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, and doing carpenter work for people.
