Elaine D. Brenno

Graveside services for Elaine D. Brenno, age 89, of Ogdensburg, will be held on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Ogdensburgh Cemetery. Mrs. Brenno passed away on January 23, 2026, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Ogdensburg.

Elaine D. Brenno was born on January 6, 1937, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Bromley) Lovely. She was a 1955 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy. On October 15, 1955, she married William Brenno at Notre Dame Church. Mr. Brenno predeceased her on May 29, 1995.
Elaine enjoyed reading, shopping trips with her daughters, watching the Denver Broncos play on Sundays, and attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events. More than anything, spending time with her family was her greatest joy.

She is survived by her children: Todd (Amy) Brenno of Ogdensburg, Cheryl (John) Hammill of Norwood, Angela (Brian) Dezell of Lisbon, Lisa (Vince) Schittino of Maryland, and Bille-Jo Brenno of Ogdensburg; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William Brenno; her sons, Jeffrey and Michael Brenno; her grandchildren, Geoffrey Brenno, Nicholas Brenno, and Lanie Folsom; her great-granddaughter, Aubrey Hoover; and her brother, Robert Lovely.
