Douglas Lee Cosler

Douglas Lee Cosler, 57, of Hammond, NY, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Funeral services will be private as per Mr. Cosler's final wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted under the care and guidance of Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ogdensburg.

Douglas was born in Endicott, NY to George and Phyllis Cosler on June 30, 1968. He attended Mainewell high school and graduated in 1986. After graduation, he went on to work in the mechanic trade. For many years, he was a Boat Mechanic for Horizon Marina. He then went onto to work at Thompson & Johnson in Syracuse.

Douglas is survived by his children, Evan Cosler of Hammond, and Brody Cosler of; His brother, Kevin Cosler of South Carolina; and his father, George Cosler of Morristown. He is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis.

Douglas loved to be an outdoorsman, by partaking in fishing on the river. He loved to bring his boat up from Geneva with his dad to Erie Canal. Boating and being able to work on his boat were his passions. At Pennsylvania and NY Circuit Fairs, he would participate and showcase his Truck Pulls.
