David Lee Dufrane

David Lee Dufrane, age 46, of Ellenburg Center, died March 3, 2021 at the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Spaulding Funeral Home. David was born in Willamantic Connecticut on March 15, 1974. He was the son of Darwin and Deborah Dumas Dufrane. David graduated from Franklin Academy, and attended North Country Community College. He worked as a body and fender technician at Georges Body Shop, McGeachie's Body Shop, Jarred Jacobs Body Shop in Hogansburg, NY. He was later employed by Bombardier Corporation in Plattsburgh until ill health forced his early retirement. He was passionate of collector cars and trucks, and was an active member of the Malone Auto Club for many years. On May 15, 2000 David married the former Christine Benoit at the gazebo in Malone, by Judge Darwin Fleury. David was a devoted and caring husband, father and son being survived by his wife Christine; a son Kaden; a daughter Mackenzie all of Ellenburg Center; his parents Darwin and Debbie Dufrane of Constable; and a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.
Friends and family may share a time of sharing and reflection at the Frary-Spaulding Funeral Home in Malone on March 11 from 5 - 7 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation at 733 Third Avenue, Suite 510, New York, NY 10017.
