Barbara Ann Dumas

Barbara Ann Dumas 84, passed away August 15, 2022 at the Alice Center Nursing Home surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held Thursday August 25, 2022 at Notre Dame Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Deacon Brian Dwyer officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home.

Barbara was born in Malone, NY on October 20, 1937, the daughter of John and Beatrice Davis. She attended local schools. She married Alfred Dumas in Burke, NY. He predeceased her. For many years Barbara was a foster mother with the Foster Parent Program.

Barbara is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law; James Dumas of Malone, NY, Bruce and Susan Dumas of Burke, NY, and Kevin and Laura Dumas also of Malone, NY; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Louis Gardner of Trout River, NY, and Karen and Lawrence Bouissey Sr. of Constable, NY; a brother, Richard and Liz Davis, of Malone, NY; two sisters, Janice Ritzmann of Westville, NY and Judy Yando of Georgia; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Barbara is predeceased by a daughter Tabitha Dumas; two brothers and a sister-in-law, John "Jack" and Teresa Davis and Gary Davis; a sister, Betty Palmer, and a brother-in-law Edward Ritzmann.
