Audrey 'Kroldart' Willett Obituary (1928

Audrey Willett, age 82, of 18 Ridgeway, Saranac Lake, died Friday March 11, 2011 at C.V.P.H Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY. Born in Batavia, New York on November 09, 1928, she was the daughter of Mark and Elsie (Lesso) Kroldart. She married Richard "Ray" Willett on July 6, 1946 in Saranac Lake. He predeceased her on September 2, 2008. Audrey was a life long resident of the area and had been employed at AMA in the payroll and personnel department for 25 years. She later was employed at the Hyde Fuel Company for 14 years until her retirement 2005. Audrey is a Life member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. She was an avid knitter, and enjoyed her family, reading and computer work. She is survived by five children Richard Willette and his wife Janice of Cat Spring, TX, Sharon Bowman and her husband Charles of Peru, NY, Rodger Willett and his wife Patricia of Bloomingdale, NY, Robert Willette and his wife Ann of Vermontville, NY, and Linda Willett of Plattsburgh, NY, 12 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Shirley Willette and Antoinette Willette both of Saranac Lake, NY, one brother-in-law Gabriel "Bucky" Willette and his wife Connie of Saranac Lake, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, mother, 3 grandchildren and four brothers. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A memorial service will take place 11:00 AM on Thursday March 17, 2011at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Richards of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in the spring. Friends wishing to remember Audrey Willett may make memorial contributions to High Peaks Hospice in care of the funeral home.
