Alex J. Shute

–

Abilene, TX

United States Air Force Senior Airman Alexander J. Shute, 28, passed away on February 23, 2025, in Abilene, Texas. His funeral will be held on May 30, 2025, beginning at 11 am at the Frary Funeral Home in Malone, NY with Dwayne Lord Jr. officiating.

Alex was born on December 18, 1996, to Dorothy Shute of Constable, NY, at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, NY. Growing up with his sister, Amber Shute of Constable, NY, brother David Shute of Churubusco, NY, and his grandfather, David Shute of Clairmont, NH, Alex sought adventure. His creativity and love for nature made him a wild child. He went on to attend Chateauguay Central School, where he would meet his wife, Caroline Shute of Abilene, TX. During his time there, he worked on a farm and helped where he could. He was a hard worker, a great student, and his generosity was extended to all. He graduated from North Country Community College in 2017 with a degree in science while working full time at Dunkin Donuts. From there he married his wife on October 20, 2018, joined our United States Air Force, and moved to Texas, where he achieved excellence.

Alex's love for those around him and high energy made him the center of attention. His biggest fear in life seemed to be not living it. He tried numerous hobbies, with just a few of his favorites being camping with his dogs Marcus and Lewis, writing, playing video games, drawing, tattooing, and hanging out with the people that he loved.

Although his life was short-lived, he lived it to the fullest. His surrounding love and memory will live on by his family and those who were lucky enough to experience him.
