Michael P. Frary - Owner

Michael Frary was born in Massena, NY. Michael married the former Anne Poirier of Massena, NY and had 5 children; Jon, Chris, Leanne, Michael J., and Ryan Frary.

Michael graduated from Canton ATC with an A.A.S in Mortuary Science in 1985. Michael moved to Ogdensburg in September of 1986. He started work with Walter Briggs who was then owner of Frary Funeral Home which was known as Lalonde-Briggs Funeral Home.

Michael purchased the funeral home from Walter Briggs in 1987. The funeral home was renamed to Frary Funeral Home & Cremation Services later on.

In 1990, Michael started the Frary Monument Company and Frary Medical Transport was incorporated in 1994.

In 1995, Frary Monument Company acquired Carter Memorial and moved it to 515 Caroline St. to expand selection.

 

Christopher C. Pitcher - Funeral Director

Christopher Pitcher is a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg, NY He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 2001 and SUNY Canton in 2003 with an A.A.S. Degree in Mortuary Science.

He earned his Funeral Director’s licensed in 2004 and since has had the priviledge of serving many families across New York State with various Funeral Homes.  

Chris is grateful to be serving families in his home community.

Chris is a parishioner of St. Mary’s Cathedral and enjoys spending time with his wife Katie and two dogs; Scooter and Valentine.  He is a member the Hammond Lodge # 861 and Ogdensburg Acacian Lodge # 128 Free and Accepted Masons.
