Funeral services for George Dean,
age 68, of Pray Road, Ogdensburg, will be private.Mr. Dean passed away on Sunday July 10, 2011
at his daughter’s home in Lisbon. Arrangements are under the direction of Frary
Mr. Dean is survived by four daughters,
Lillian Tourgee and her husband Robert of Lisbon, Georgette Kemp of Ogdensburg,
Renee Martel of Danielson, CT and Annmarie Robidas and her husband Denis of Danielson,
CT; two sons, Raymond J. Guilmette and his wife Kathleen of Stoneham, MA and
Joseph M. Guilmette and Debra of Danielson, CT; one sister, Verona Parsons and
her husband William of Salisbury, MD; thirteen grandchildren and 13 great
grandchildren also survive him and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Dean was born on March 29, 1943
in Groton, CT, the son of William Lewis and Daisy Viola Eccleston. He
attended Groton Schools. He married Anna Morel on December 10, 1966 in
Bozrah, CT. Their Marriage ended in divorce in 1989.Mr. Dean was an over the road truck driver
for various companies and eventually became an owner-operator until his
retirement in 1995 due to health issues.
Mr. Dean enjoyed bowling, fishing,
and collecting firearms.Prior to moving
to New York, he held a Federal Firearm License and worked as a Firearms Dealer
